Once the ceiling lift is installed into the ceiling track system, you should function test the product to ensure that everything is working correctly. Follow the guidelines below to complete the function test.

1. Turn the ceiling lift on, this is done by pressing the toggle switch red tab up into the “on” position. (See figure 12.1)

2. Operate each handset button to ensure that the ceiling lift is responding to the correct command. See the LCD screen to confirm the command.

3. Check that the ceiling lift can traverse correctly along the full length of the track system. Powered ceiling lifts should traverse along without any assistance.

4. Dock the ceiling lift into the charging dock to ensure that the ceiling lift is charging correctly.
