Connect the handset back into the handset port on the underside of the portable lift.



Retest the function by operating the hand controls

There may be damage to the handset system. See Handset Testing Guide – Document No. 990SD-20.

Inspect the full length of the charging/power cable for any damage such as exposed wires and cuts

If damaged, replace the charging/power supply unit.

Handset Charging Test Guide

If the portable lift still isnt charging, it will display on the membrane there is a “charging system fault”. The lift will alarm 6 beeps (0.5 sec apart) x2 cycles.
